WOW! I am proud of ME!

I have lost 40lbs!! WOW! It feels amazing! I can tell by what I wear! What I do! How I feel! It is amazing! New pics will be here sunday!!

Oh, the weekend

Thank goodness it is over. We went to my in laws. We left on Friday. I was in a terrible mood. We left though and made it to Abilene where my nephews Stephen and Carson were thrilled!!! They played and played with the boys! My sis in law showed me around her new house and was in awe of Kater and her maturity. The the fit hit and she was pretty wowed by that too lol.

We did NOT sleep well. Kater slept with us and tossed and turned. I got sick at 4:30 in the morning it was rough. We got up and left by 10 and headed to Midland and got there about noon and had lunch. We went to his Aunt's birthday party which did NOT go well for me lol. I am not good around those people and I got a disturbing text while I was there. Kater was good though and that is always a plus.

We went to the hotel after that to check in and let the kids swim. Bryan and I got in too so Kater could swim and she loved it!!!! She never wanted to get out. The kids all played really well together it was great. We all went to dinner I mean ALL. Bryan, Me, Kason, Kelby, Kater, Bryans Mom and Dad, His two Aunts, His cousin, His sister and her 2 kids, and His sister, her husband and there 2 kids. I think there was somewhere around 2o of us. The kids were great for what all happened. The resturant was training its staff and the menu was NOT kid friendly but we adjusted and at 9ish Bryan and I got our food lol and it wasn't great. It wasn't horrible though either. We went back and let the kids swim and Bryan's mom got in with Kater so we could go talk about the clinic details.

We had a great visit, although we aren't sure this clinic is for us. We got back about 1030 and hit the sack we were so tired! We got up Sunday and visited Bryan's other Aunt and Grandma where Kelby got to hang with Unlce Rex and see the goats! One untied his shoe and he loved it. Then we went back to his mom's so the kids could play and left about 5. We got home around 11. All in all it was a good visit can you believe that?

I am getting there!

I have lost 36.5 lbs! WOW can you believe that!?!?!?!?

Getting Better

Well, Kater's hand is on the mend. All the blisters have popped and some are peeling thanks to two year hold hands picking at them. The new skin looks thin and raw! ICK! She is also 10 times better with her illnesses! She does have poo problems thanks to the antibiotics! She has pooped out of her pullup/diaper about 4 times since yesterday! She has no rash yet, knock on wood! Her outgoing personality is emerging again as she mends from all this. She can do it ALL!!!

I vaccumed today and you can't tell. It looks so dirty in here again! I swear I don't know why I clean! As soon as I am done it is dirty again, no joke!! How do some people keep theirs clean?!?! Seriously!?!? I got all the laundry done and guess what, the hamper is almost full again which means a whole new load. I mean I know we are gonna wear clothes but GEEZE people!!!

Well, I am gonna hit the hay! I am gonna check out a preschool for Kater tomorrow. It will just be one day a week since she is only 2 and I might up it next year when she is older. She needs some more interaction and some preschool things going on! I don't think I am doing enough for her at home. And MAYBE the house can be clean for one day a week!!! I am also shopping for a new shirt, that fits!, weighing in and I hope I have lost! And I am not sure what all else we have to do!

Right

I am not talking about the historical event from today. I am not gonna say I don't care cause I do I just don't want to talk about it. I am gonna talk about something much better my family!!

My daughter is SICK she had a low grade fever last night which by 3 am was a HIGH fever and she threw up do to the fever I am sure. I told Bryan I wasn't gonna risk it and I took her to the dr. We saw the NP whom I love dearly! She, my daughter, has strep throat, she has had strep 8 times now since she has been born!!!! She also has a double ear infection (this is our first and second) and bronchitis. She is super sick! They put her on more meds and she seems to be feeling better already. She also popped the last blister on her hand which is healing ok. She is just a real gem right now lol!

The boys went back to school today after a long weekend. I was so happy it was not quite thanks to Kater but it was normal at least. I am hoping to get the laundry caught up. I will wait till you are done laughing to continue...... ok, we are going to Midland to my husband's aunt's 70th birthday party this weekend. I get to go shopping for a new outfit cause my clothes don't fit!!!! I love that!

Kelby is catching up with his sight words and I am so excited. He is making great progress all the sudden. Hopefully he can catch up with the rest. He will be playing soccer again soon!

Both the boys had their 1st basketball game of this season and the first ever for Kel and they did great. Their team lost but the boys were awesome both made free throws! They are hustlers and aggressive on the court.

Party Princess

Well, we had Kater's birthday party this weekend and it was super fun. Bridgette and Torie helped me make tutu's and we had a ballerina party. Kater's favorite part was the cake and presents lol! She got tons of good stuff: We got her a doll house with accessories, dress shoes, hair stuff, clothes, and this is without knowing what to get her lol, my mom got her a cinderella baby doll and a tea set, Aunt Dee got her a fishing pole and net, she also got Mr. Potato head, a tutu dress, a cute picture, a poodle you can dress, color wonder markers and paper, wand, crown, magic doodle, more accessories for her doll house, a princess carriage, and a purse with tons of accessories! She loves it all! I am going to have to go through her toys and share the wealth at this point I think! She doesn't have room for it all. We had tons of company too. We had us 6 (with Lyric) and on Thurs Torie and Kris and Aidan got here so we were up to 9. Friday brought my Mom, Quinton, My sister and her 3 sons so that made 15 people ranging in age from 3w, 13m, 2, 5, 5, 8, 10, 10, 13, 14, 30, 30, 33, 34, and 55. Along with that 3 dogs, 2 cats and a parrot lol. One baby was teething and one was hurting so it was interesting but we had tons of fun and it didn't seem crowded a bit!

Sweet Girl

Ok, so today I was cooking breakfast. I made scrambled eggs and toast and from the day my daughter could sit in her bumbo she has been sitting on the counter while I cook. She likes it and it is easier for me, as did every other kid before her. Well, today I found out why this is not a good idea. She fell when my back was turned and her hand landed on the burner which was still hot and she burnt her upper palm and all 5 of her fingers with the first two suffering the worst damage. I went into the worst state of panic I have ever been in. I finally thought to call the dr and did and they told me to bring her in. I called a couple friends until I got ahold of someone and dropped Lyric off and Bryan met me at the dr's office. They said she has 2nd degree burns, and now they are all blistered. They gave her loratab and some salve to put on them when they bust. It looks horrible to me. She seems to do fine with the medication. I will try not giving her the loratab tomorrow and see how she does with just motrin. I will post a pic of her hand tomorrow.

Can I handle it?

I don't know!?! My husband got a great offer on a Vet clinic, bad news?? It is in MIDLAND!! I love it here!!! I love my friends, I love being so close but so far away from my family. Not to mention, my husbands family lives there and I am not so keen on them by any means!!! I am not sure if I could handle it! I am praying it out though!


I have a scheduale for running. It is a 1:7 ratio! You warm up with a 7m power walk then run for 1m then walk for 7 and run for 1 you get the idea. I do it 7-1 three times then walk out the rest of the track for a cool down and do my crunches and stretches. I will do that for a week and slowly increase my running and lessen my walking until I am running the whole 30mins then increase my amount of time I am running. I love the freeness of running I sure missed it and didn't know it! I love the new healthy me! Makes me feel great!

I am keeping my unrelated sister's baby this week. She is 13m old and so much FUN!!!! Kater is jealous but she is getting better. Lyric doesn't take her bullying, she fights back!! It is cute to watch them! I know her mommy misses her but I will miss her when she is gone!!! I will be a bit sad!

Liars need not apply

Why do people lie? Is your life that boring? It seems like the MOST selfish act to me. I can deal with ANY other thing you do to me just don't LIE. It is the most hurtful act I can imagine. If you can't trust me with the truth just say you don't want to talk about it, how easy is that? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Makes me want to scream. Liars, please take note, don't bother talking to me! Find someone else! Period The End!


Oh a different note. The girls are doing great and we are enjoying Lyric so very much!!! She is a blast to be around and super funny!!! Bald and curious and smiley! Kater is so jealous she is turning green but it is getting better. I am super tired with double diapers, double food, double cleaning WHEW! 2 babies=hard work!!!

Running has been better than I thought! I have more energy and I feel better about myself! Yeah me lol!

Day 1

Oh my little rugrats! I think one more baby will be my last lol. This reminder of what 1 yr olds are like is a real eye opener lol! I haven't gotten much done today not that I tried by any means. I am ready to go back to the track today! It makes me feel free when I am running. I don't have much to say cause not much is going on thank goodness!!! Kater's 2nd birthday party is this weekend!

Running

I am taking up running again. I haven't done this in 14 years!!! I used to run 5m a day cause I liked it and I stopped when I got pregnant with Quinton. Well, I want to race for the cure in October so tonight I started training and I felt great!!!!!!!!! I am so proud of me! I am going to work up slowly and this should help me shed the pounds faster too!

Well, I am going to Lubbock, well Anton but just the same, tomorrow! I am taking the kids and heading out about 4 o'clockish! We are going to visit a very great friend of mine and her kiddos!!! We are celebrating 2 birthdays while we are there! I am super duper excited. I will have tons of pics when I get back I am sure of that!

Reaching my limit!

Why do people ask you how you are if they don't really care?????? FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO SAY!! I want to scream but I can't! Drives me nuts for someone to ask me how I am and tell them and they oh that's to bad or good! But they don't really care! DON'T ASK IF YOU DON'T WANNA KNOW!

I don't! If I want to know how you are I will ask and if it is good I will listen if you want to tell me and if it is bad I am guaranteed to listen to what is wrong! I am so frustrated. I went to church last night and 3 people asked me how I was. I was honest and told them. One person said oh sorry to hear that, one actually got this pained look on her face like I was gonna make her suffer and tell her what was going on, well I didn't but she didn't ask either. One actually asked and I told her a bit and offered for me to call her.

I am so frustrated!!!!!!!!!

Moving in to the Dr's!

I might have to move in to the Dr's office. I was there 3 times today for MYSELF!!!!!!!! WOW! I have to take progesterone for my never ending period to see if that helps. PRAY people PRAY it really works even if you don't think so it works for me cause I KNOW SO! I had to get up at 630 to go get stuck in the arm but it only took one poke so that is awesome!! Got what they wanted and I was home by 9! We even stopped to see Bryan at work. We had friends come over at 10 and we had so much fun getting to know Brook and Audrey better while playing with great friends Kimberley and Spencer. Kater wasn't in so hot a mood though! When is she ever? Just the same we had fun, well I did. We had lunch with daddy and Kater went to Ginger's to play with Sid and Mary and had fun there too while I went to see the Endo who basically regrilled me and told me he was pretty sure I have Hyperthyroidism and to go to the lab for MORE blood. Which went smoothly then back to the Gyno to talk to the nurse lol but all in all not a horrible day really just super busy. I picked all 3 kids up and headed to church where we visited and my husband taught for me so I could rest and visit for a bit! It was wonderful. Now we are trying to wrangle the wildkat to bed and then I am laying on the couch and watching TV!!!!!! Don't tell anyone!

Stick Stuck!

I had to have blood drawn for all the problems I have been having to make sure I am not anemic. Usually I have to be stuck about 3 times before they learn their lesson and they usually don't want to listen to me when I say I am a hard stick and to use the butterfly needle but this girl was the one who did me when I was pregnant with the wildkat and she even remembered me because I was such a hard stick (she had to get her super to do it last time) and was careful and great and she must have learned a lot in 2 yrs cause she only stuck me once. Took her a good 2 mins to actually get the vein but she got and didn't have to stick me again!! It is SORE though! Kater was a bit traumatized lol but she recovered with stickers!

She is healing well, where she fell and nearly bit a hole in her lip. Everyone talks about how big she is getting and it makes me a little sad. My baby is getting big. She talks so big and is growing growing. I want to shrink her back down! She is so sweet though. She loves animals like no other kid I have seen, except maybe Kelby. She loves to pet them and worries about them. She loves to go to the clinic to see them. So sweet! Maybe she will be a Dr. Wade too someday!

I go weigh in tomorrow I am super excited to see how much more I have lost. I am sticking to it and have not ate off program for a week now. I can give up a few months to lose the weight and learn to be healthy then eat just a little bit unhealthy just for fun! It is going great though. We learned some great stress relief ideas and I am gonna blog some when I don't have much so say sometimes. When does that happen though lol!!

Good News

Well, I called the dr today and the nurse said not to worry yet. She was gonna talk to Dr. G and call me tomorrow but they want me to come in to do a CBC to make sure I am not anemic. We shall see? I am doing great on weight loss. I reached 30lbs on Monday. I am so excited. Bryan and I are going on vacation to St. Lucia in May right around my birthday!! Gotta get that passport and I have decided I am gonna train to run a marathon or a half marathon!!!!

Can you help me?

I know you can't before I ever ask however, I have to ask! I am having problems with my period. I had my IUD out on Wed and I am bleeding like crazy. I quit Sunday evening and nothing all day today then tonight while having the boys at basketball practice with a cranky toddler who had her shots and fell and bit a hole in her lip, My damn broke and I thought I might bleed to death right there at the boys and girls club. I picked the baby and quickly told Kason I would be right back and RUSHED home to take care of the situation and well here I sit. I all I wanted to do was to try to have another baby but it looks like my wishes may be dashed. We can't afford the surgeries it took us to get to the baby point last time! I know Bryan would do whatever I wanted but I don't want to put him through that. I am so sad that this is happening to me again. You can't begin to understand unless you have been here. I have been praying to guidance as to what all these feelings mean. The feeling of WANTING almost craving another child, being angry I am going through it again! What does it all mean. I need something I can't ask for I need someone to see my need and fulfill it for me but I don't think that will happen it hasn't so far and I have been looking for it for 5yrs now. Maybe I need a change??? Would that help?? I am praying for answers. I am looking at scenarios but I don't want to make the wrong decision. Please pray for me and with me! Thanks

38.25 Inches Gone!!

I have lost a total of 30.5 lbs!!! They redid my total inches lost with is up to 38.25 inches gone of my body of fat!!!!!!!!!!!! I am super excited. I had to buy new pants as the old ones were basically falling off of me! I went in to buy them one size smaller and I had to buy 2!! 2 sizes smaller how great is that?? I am still smiling right now!!! I love it!!

All a blur

It seems like my kids just started school. Now, we have had Halloween, Thanksgiving, Chirstmas a Birthday and now it is 2009!!!!!!!! WHAT!?!?!? How did this happen?? Anyone know?

The kids will be so sad to go back to school tomorrow but I have a full week going on as usual! Monday Kater goes for her 2yr check up!!!!! Can you believe that? I have an appointment at the Endicronologist on Wed. Bryan's birthday is on Friday! Oh well I love busy!!


In 2009 I am making some new life choices. We have been eating healthier and I have lost 27.5 lbs! I slipped a lot durring christmas but didn't gain any. I am recommitted to the program and I am going to lose my last 72 or more lbs! I am wearing clothes that are 2 sizes smaller and I have so much more energy! We are talking of adding to our family but it looks like that might not happen. We will see where all this goes! We are doing the 10 commandments in Class at church and it has opened my eyes a lot so some reevaluating will be going on there too!!! Keep your eye out for the not new but IMPROVED BROOKE!!!!

Can I skip 2?

My daughter really is super cute some days and others, like today! Not so much! Why does 2 have to be so hard? On us? She just wants to be independent and I understand that. I want her to be but why the fits?? WHY WHY WHY???? Why the pinching, hitting, biting, kicking, screaming, crying FITS???

She talks so well you would think that would cut out some of the fits right? Cause she can express her self so well! No, OH NO!!! It seems to be worse than it was with Kelby who couldn't talk at all!! I wish I could peak inside her mind to see what she is thinking when she does these things!! Must be hard on her too!

I don't know what I would without her though! She is my girl in the house of boys. You should see them painting her toenails! Espically Quinton! SO CUTE!!!! I love it! I love to see them love her like they do. They will be great husbands! And, she doesn't mind training them one little bit!!!!!

So a new weight loss pic!!! I am gonna start next month doing just myself. Bryan has lost 30lbs and is done losing. He is super skinny! I have lost 26.5 lbs and counting! Enjoy!!!
