Christmas

So Christmas went great!!!!!

Bryan got: A paper weight that looks like the crest of his Aggie ring. Complete with the year he graduated! A new bible that he has been hinting for forever!! And some little stuff, money for clothes, an extension cord, lens cleaner, glasses screws and screw diver and such.

I got: A new SEWING machine!!!! I have been asking for 3 years!!! Thanks to Paula and Bridgette for helping me out! The new Britney Spears CD. A ped egg, car fresheners, and such.

Quinton got AXE, AXE and more AXE, AC/DC jacket, pants, a couple more hoodies from dad, Guns N Roses CD, a ramp and rail for the skateboard and some skating accessories.

Kason got Batman Leggo game for the Wii we got as a family!! Train set, Ben 10, Bionacles, 2 hoodies, shoes, Spongebob bedding, Clue, Indiana Jones stuff, Nerf guns.

Kelton got a drum set, guitar, digital camera, shoes, belt with his name on it, 2 hoodies, computer, stuff for the Wii, trash truck, Indiana Jones sword, Harley Bedding, Tennis racket, police hat, fireman outfit.

Kater got about six babies I kid you not, a sugglekins monkey and swing, bottles, food, pots and pans, dishes, diaper bags, 2 sets of twins, a new baby alive toddler, stroller, carseat, high chair combo, shoes, finger nail polish and lip gloss.

We had so much fun with all our families!!! Nana and Grampa, Aunt Dianne, Uncle Donnie, Kaleb and Ray. Aunt Dee, Uncle Mikey, Chase, and Gage. Nonna and Poppa, Aunt Tonya, Uncle Steve, Stephen and Carson, Aunt Tracy, Zane and Dezi!

The day after Christmas we welcomed a new family member Reed Michael Bay. He was born to Aunt Dee and Unlce Mikey with 2 big brothers Chase, 14 and Gage, 10! She is so brave. He was born on Kater's birthday the 26th at 8 19 am. He weighed 8lbs 2 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. He is super duper cute and I just want to keep him but she won't let me. Stingy thing!

Anyway that is the update I have for now. I have added pics of Reed already so I will add some of present time!

When do you take your tree down?

When do you put up your tree and when do you take it down?? With one exception my whole adult life I have put my tree up the day after thanksgiving (or very close to it), except 2 yrs ago when I was 9m pregnant lol!! We take it down after one full week of January! I love the tree it is my favorite part of christmas, and the lights of course! It keeps me in the spirit, which is very hard to do! So, enjoy and don't take it down yet!

Reed Michael

Christmas post can wait! Here is my new nephew and Kater's 2nd birthday present. Reed Michael Bay was born 12-26-08 at 8:19am!! He weighed 8lbs 2 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long! Isn't he great!

Christ as the Savior

Col 1:12-14

Our greatest problem is SIN, one way or another every problem you have you can relate back to sin. Romans 1:32 says people who deserve death will do it anyway and will approve others who do it as well. 8:32 says you can hear the natural world groaning. How true is this???

Our greatest need is a solution to SIN. Talking nor ritual will solve it. Someone from outside the situation, someone who can meet the demands of the Holy God. Someone who has power to overcome Satan and human will. Well, who is that?? GOD!!!!

Why is God so effective? He rescues us! Savior doesn't have the same meaning it used to so the word rescurer was used. The words are synonyms. Weather the edge of diaster or eternal seperation. He sacrificed himself through Christ, making it the most darring rescue mission in history! The Lord payed the price.

He transfers us to another realm, deports us to the Kingdom of love and light. He redeems us. We owed a debt we could NOT pay. So, he payed it for us. He secures forgivness of our sin, he sends it away, cancels the debt.

Sin is not sicksness. You can unregister from this deal by refusing to do it God's way. You can also reregister. You can lose and fall from grace-hard and on purpose.

I will never again be enslaved by satan. He will look through my files but they will GONE!! I don't fear judgement. Christ payed the price for me so I do what he wants as best I can.

1John 1:7 says walk in the light, not sinlessly I LOVE IT!!!!

We are qualified, competent, adequit, suffeciet, fit! It's not WHAT it is WHO! God through Christ. Completion!

I have my head high! I am heaven bound. I have GOD! AMEN!!!

Worry makes you the center of your world. With God as the center you have no worries!

Praise God the Father, his love, Jesus, his son, Lord of every aspect of our lives. Crown him!!!

Squeezing it in!

I got 5 mins to myself today so I am giving it to blogging. That is sad lol!

We didn't do much today cause it is COLD outside. I hope tomorrow is better so I can vaccum out the van before we LOAD it up with presents and suitcases!! We are leaving on Christmas Eve to go see my momma!!!

The boys, Bryan and I played games tonight we played a young version of BINGO and 2 different Clue games! We had tons of fun. Then we read all our family chirstmas books and sang songs while drinking hot chocolate!! YUM!!!!

Tomorrow it is laundry, cleaning and potty training!

My Poinsetta Cake

I forgot you all wanted to see it. I am by no means a professional. I make cakes for the fun of it! I have a good time and I like others to like I what I do for them. However, that being said, I got this cake all made and pretty and was going to finish with the flowers and my daughter decided to dig in lol so it is still great but it has a couple of patch jobs! This was for the Christmas party of my girlfriends and I!! Oh it was my first time to make a bow too! What do you think?

In laws are coming to town!

The in-laws are comming today! They are staying till monday!!! WHAT!?!?!??! I can survive. I can survive. I am not sure how but I can and I will. I might have less hair!

Last night was the christmas party for the stay at home mom's at my house! We had soooooooo much fun!!! I didn't want the night to end. We did ice breaker questions, shared a million stories, great food, and had a "fun" sock white elephant sock exchange!!! We all got the best freakin' socks!!

Ohhhhhh, today won't be as much fun for sure lol!!

The BEST of times

Tomorrow is our Ladies Christmas Party!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited. We are having it at my house which makes it all the better! We are playing white elephant with FUN socks, Ice breaker questions and of course FOOOOOOD!!! I am making a cake which I am super excited about but I don't want to reveal details cause I know the girls read my site! It will be awesome! I have cut all the decorations for it and they are drying over night tonight. Then tomorrow morning I will bake the cakes to cool while at Kelby's party and program! Then I will ice and decorate it! I am totally into the spirit now! I need to finish wrapping presents!

I have to say. It is just Kater and I in the house right now, the boys are on the roof fixing the lights! I am sooooooooo happy! I love my life. My daughter is FUNNY FUNNY FUNNY! Most of the time! She is potty training so well! My kids are helpful and well mannered I love it! Today Kason's class had a book exchange at school they played a cool game and their "present" said who the book was from. Kason was the ONLY kid to thank the boy who got it for him and tell him how much he liked it! I was so proud. I might have been the only parent who heard but his teacher heard! What a kid!

Well I will post a pic of a cake I did for Dr. Clark's wife when she turned 55 here recently! Just so you can see my talent lol!

Once more

I still don't have much to say but I always have pics and I don't want my blog to go down hill again! I am babysitting today. Kater is being naughty as usual! Johnathon is being good well, at least someone is!

Working the Santa Store was tons of fun. The kids went shopping for us all yesterday and they loved it! The shopped for each one of us. It makes them feel good to go pic out their own presents for each of us.

My new camera is great. I have been taking millions of pics of the kids. My camera holds 1000 or more pics so I don't have to upload them as often either WAHOO! I will have to doll Kater up and torment her for while!

New Camera

I got a new camera! It is a sony a300/a350. It is 10.2 megapixels! I wanted the 14 but I comprimised! I am in love with it. I can't wait to really use it! I have been playing with it with the kids but nothing to serious yet! Look out people! Brooke with a new camera!

School is starting late today I guess cause of the cold there is no ice or snow so whose to say?!!? We Texans don't take to cold to well! We like it HOT, or at least warm all the time!

I am working the Santa Store at school this week too! Yesterday was a lot of fun and Kater was really good! I was a little suprised about that! She ended up with a lizard out of the deal though! Well, here are some more Family shots of us!

We had a friend do some family pics for us then I touched em up! Kater was terrible! Quinton Complained. My husband was embarassed and our boys ran around like crazy fools so I would say all in all it went well. I am gonna post some here and there so you can enjoy them!

Maid Service

I am apparently the maid service! I thought I was the mom. Leader guide of small people. Right hand (wo)man to my husband. Domestic Goddess, Partner, Princess?

Nope I am the maid! I am here to clean, cook, laundry, read to those in demand! I am here to DO DO DO whatever anyone wants me to or so it seems. Right at this moment I am here to do laundry and wrap presents it looks like! I am drowning in them!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHH sinking sinking sink...

I am not complaining by any means I love my job. I just think they lie. When you get married they should say, Do you promise to pick up everyone's underwear and wash, dry and put them away. Clean poop, throw up and never end dust? Do promise you will cook, make beds, and pick up the living room 20 times a day? Do you promise to have sex even when you are tired, figure out what that smell is even when it makes you gag and certainly figure out how to get gum out of every possible surface it can stick to? So long as you shall live?

Ah things we figure out the hard way. But here is what I get in return!

Princess Patty!

Well, Kater had her first modeling job about a month ago. She did some bows and tutu's for a lady we buy hairbows from. The address is loopdeloophairbow.com! We love them. Potty Training?

I am not the potty drill sargent! I think I should get a medal this is my 4th time to serve!

She is doing well enough I guess only 4 accidents yesterday. Only 4 you say well she only went in the potty 3 times and she went in her pull up at the store lol so over all not the best day right? You have to start somewhere though. She likes going so who am I to argue! She went this morning so far so good. Now we are going to mommy and me and well playing vs peeing ? Playing will win everytime I know. So we won't chance we will wear a pull-up. I can't stand those things by the way! I like the concept but who are they kidding they know they can pee in those things are not get wet!

I am thinking about a sticker wall. Not a chart but just a poster board she can stick a sticker on when she goes she will love it! I think I will do that next time I am at Wal Mart and since I need to go grocery shopping it will probably be Thursday! I also need just 2 gift boxes to finish wrapping all our Christmas presents for our kids! Oh yeah and some extra time! Anybody got any right now? I need to shop for my nephews and neice too and then I am DONE!!! Yeah!!! I can't stand this time of year for certain things. I love the goofy songs and my tree and the traditions but don't tell Kimberley that!

Potato Sack Dresses

Have you ever heard of a potato sack dress? Now they are commonly reffered to as pillow case dresses. They are soooooooooooo cute. A LONG time ago very poor girls would wear potato sacks as dresses not to cool then. Oprah used to wear them and was called sack girl. Needless to say she wasn't all that popular. Well I bought Kater one yesterday at a craft fair and it is sooooooooo cute! As you can see! I love it I want to make some myself they look very simple. Be prepared lol!!


On a different note. I am down 22lbs on my weight loss. Bryan is at 20!!! My goal is 30 by Christmas!

Church was great

We were talking about our society turning away from God and how Christian are preceived. In Church we had a lesson about God being number 1! The only one. It was great and I was truely lifted up!

I am loving the fact that my clothes are to big. LOVE IT! I am down 19 1/2 lbs so far. I want to be at 20 on Monday and due 5 more this week! I will have to work hard but I know I can. I want 30lbs total by Christmas!

I am still loving my new do but I am on to something new that I will blog about here before to long and I am getting everyone I know on board with it if I can. We all know how passionate I can be when I find something I believe in!!

New Do!!

Welcome to my new haircut!! Isn't it awesome!?!?! I didn't know if I was gonna like it but I freaking love it and I look fabulous! I have lost 19 lbs and got a fab new hair cut!

Christmas Craziness

My husband and I went Christmas shopping today! I have no clue how much we spent but we are DONE! I have to buy him 2 more things and for our neices and nephews but they are only getting gift cards. Then I have a couple of special people I want to shop for so I will later. But the kids are DONE! Now I need to wrap them and put them under the tree. I am thinking I will do a little every night so it will seem like they keep piling up! I will take pictures in various times of adding presents. I am terrible this time of year. I don't like to wait any more than Kelby so this should be fun lol!!

I got a new cell phone today. It is pretty cool! I dropped mine is pee, potty water at walmart and that was the end of it. I am not talking on the pee pee phone even if it dries out and works! It is pretty cool slider phone though with a qwerty keyboard for faster texting! Awesome!!

My daughter's new favorite song is Jingle Bells lol we have sung about 20 times!
