If you are from Texas or have ever lived here you understand the yearly tradition by all Texan's temporary or permanent about taking pictures in the bluebonnets! Well, around here they only grow on the sides of the highway! Why is that? Well, we always find a spot and this year a GREAT spot and I got some truly awesome pics!

Bluebonnets grow on the side of the roads because in the 60's Ladybird Johnson started a campaign to have travelers throw seeds along the highways. At least that's the way I remember the story.
