Birthday Boy

This week we are celebrating the life of my 6 yr old son.

Kelton James Wade, aka Kelby, was born April 3, 2003 at 12:55 p.m. Weighing in at 9lbs 6oz and 21 1/2 inches long! He was by far the biggest baby I have ever had! He had a whole head full of black curly hair and deep blue eyes.

He was a quiet, sweet boy who was never worried about much and if things got to chaotic for him he would go to sleep! He nursed well and loved his brothers! We learned at age 4m that he could not hear well and thus began a LONG, until about 2 weeks ago, to work the details out with that. We still aren't sure what the out come will be.

Kelby sat up at 4m, crawled at 7m and walked at 13m. He didn't talk much until the age of 2. He potty trained himself at 21m old and it was GREAT!

He started preschool at First Baptist Church in Burk when he was 3 and he also did pre-K there. He is now in Kindergarden, Mrs. Major's class. He hates it! He has the best teacher but he just does NOT like school! he is learning to read and going to start on math soon! I am so proud of this little boy!

Ok, I need to update.

Kater is done with potty training, she just won't do it if she doesn't want to! This morning she did great, the rest of the day NOPE!!! Why the change?!?!?! How frustrating! Oh, well, she wins. I quit! We will start again before to long and see what happens.

Kason spent spring break with my sister and wow what an adjustment he has had coming home! Daddy said he can't go next year lol!!

Kelby is recovering slowly! He had a big set back on Sat. but is much much better. He is ready to play sports and be "normal" and eat "normal" but the dr said another week before we get back to that. He let us look at his tonsils yesterday and EW is all I have to say about that!

Quinton spent spring break with us and wow! I love my teenage son I do but man am I glad he is living with his dad right now! One week wore me down FAST! I can't wait for this summer though when we get to see him more!

Bryan and I went with the flow this week. It was stressful having a teenager we aren't used to having, a little boy who was down with his surgery, and a 2 yr old whom I am pretty sure is smarter then both of us!

Basketball is now OVER! The boys went out on a good note. They won their last game 21 to 13 I think! It was awesome. Kason and Kelby played their hearts out! Soon to come, TROPHEYS!!!!

We are now on to soccer and baseball/tball. Kelby is playing tball and soccer and has wonderful coaches! Kason is playing baseball and I am not so keen on his coach! We will make it through though!

Kelby is having his surgery on the 18th so in one week! We are so stressed out over this and not really sure why! Please pray for us!

Kater is growing like a weed. She talks so well and is doing pretty good on potty training. She hasn't worn daipers in about 2-3 weeks! She is growing up! She has stubborn attitude, like her daddy right lol!!!

I have lost 53lbs as of Monday! I am going to go see baby Reed on Sun, Mon and Tues! I am so excited. I love my sister's kids like they are my own!!! Wonderful times! I am going to weigh tomorrow and see if I have lost anymore! I am down 8 pant sizes wow that is an awesome feeling!

Update

Last basketball game tonight!!!!!!!! Then we start soccer and baseball/tball. It is a super busy time of the year for us but we love it. I went in and weighed today I am down 53 lbs!!!!! Wow what a feeling! My belly button is healing nicely. It is a little bruised but it doesn't feel bad!

Long TIme

So I haven't been around. I know you missed me! Well, I am down 51lbs now! I am so excited. I got about 30 to go. We have our house all fixed up and on the market. We are making an offer on a house too! We are so excited. I went on a field trip with Kelby, it was tiring but fun fun fun. I went back to the endo and got a check up and blood work that I am still waiting on. And last night I got my belly button pierced.

I know childish, some of you think but I am 30 and I have just lost 50lbs. I wanted to do something FUN so I did. It is super cute, a little sore though. I will take a pic as soon as I can and post it!
