Kelby is 6 1/2 he is quite the character. His main goal in life is to make girls squeal and to play pranks on anyone he can. He comes by it honestly though. He is in Kindergarden and loves it. He has many friends and loves sports, his favorite is soccer with a close 2nd of basketball and football, he also plays baseball but doesn't seem to have the passion for it as he does the others.

My sweet precious daughter is now 3!!! She is a giggly, silly, little girl! She is all girl! She loves pink, purple, Kai Lan, Princesses, hair bows, squeaky shoes, dolls, make up, loofahs, Barbie, Strawberry Shortcake, Puppies, Silky blankeys, dress up. You name it and it is girly we probably have it or at least like it!!!

She wore the same birthday outfit as last year lol that cracks me up. I am used to these big ole boys and this dianty little girl is so much fun!!!!

Struggling

Trying to get pregnant when you can't do it naturally is much harder then it is for regular people. You are doing all these things to make a cycle and track a cycle but sometimes that doesn't work and you don't have a cycle so you know for sure you are guarenteed you aren't pregnant. Anyway I am bummed as you can tell.

On brighter note we had a blizzard, a great Christmas and my daughter turned 3!!! Enjoy!

Round 2

So my sweet sweet girl is a clomid baby! Clomid is a fertility drug used to make you ovulate. It makes me crazy (well it did last time anyway). So pray for Bryan. Now, NOONE knows we are doing this that is why it hasn't been on facebook so don't say anything and PLEASE don't ask me if I am pregnant lol you will know when I know cause I can't keep it a secret I will post it on here! So if you read my blog you are one of the lucky few to know that the Wade Zoo should, with lots of prayer and God's will, be expanding by, prayerfully just ONE new monkey sometime in the next year!

Kelby is a mess

So the kid fell out of bed on Friday and got an AC seperation. It is where the clavical seperates from the shoulder. Sounds painful? It is! The first dr told us to sling him for a week and no activities for 2 weeks then the pedi today said it wasn't that bad and he didn't need the sling all the time and to use it and activities are fine. Well he has been using it today and is in a lot of pain so I had Bryan call the dr back to see what he says! Pain in the neck i tell ya!!

Kater had her 1st ever dance recital this weekend, SOOOOOOOOOOO cute!!! I love having a little girl! Here are some pics and we did our 1st of 4 Christmas's! This holiday is OUT OF CONTROL!

Merry Christmas!!

With Christmas fast approaching and not much time on my hands I thought I would update quickly. We have 2 trees this year a regular one and a purple one for my sweet little precious girl! We have her dance recital on Sat. and the Kelby's Christmas play for school and Tues. night. Last night was Bryan's work party and we had a great time. Today is our Morning Glories, ladies bible study group, Christmas lunch. See, busy I told you! Well rest time is almost gone away as we have Basketball starting in Jan for both boys which is followed immediately by Baseball and Soccer again but that means it will be almost SUMMER! Yeah for that! This 13 degree weather is NOT for me!


I saw the genetic counselor in FW yesterday and we didn't learn anything new really but she did educate us on our choices and gave us great referals of surgeons if that is the route we chose. She also updated us on some numbers and we both felt much much better when we left there. We have no more conclusive ideas as to what we are going to do though and we did hope to, oh well, God will tell us in time right?!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We went to my mom's for Thanksgiving and had a great time. I was disappointed in my Dad's dinner but I will more then make up for it at Christmas time. I am sure of it! We spent a lot of time with my sister and her kids who were sick and of course my little Kater bug caught it! Oh well, we love them. We did pics for Christmas cards and we went and saw Old Dogs and it was so super funny. I laughed my rear off really! We were very excited to return and drove through the festival of lights in Chickasha on the way home.

BRCA1

This gene in my family contains a mutation in gene 3604 it is DelA. I tested positive for this mutated gene! What does that mean? It means I am at a higher risk for breast, colon, and ovarian cancer. 87% higher then the normal population for breast, 44% for ovarian and not sure on the colon. I am going for genetic counseling in FtW to see what they recommend be done. Chances are a double mastectomy and hysterectomy that is what was recommeded for my cousin who carries the same mutated gene.

I am still here

I just wanted everyone to know. Not that anyone besides Heather reads this lol. Oh, well it is for me. Bryan's grandma passed away and we went to Midland for 4 days. It actually wasn't to bad. I think the key is staying in a Motel. The service was very nice and we all did very well. She will be greatly missed though. Soccer is over and as sad as that makes me I am also thrilled. We are still trying to sell our house, waiting waiting waiting, no one even looking at it! UGH! A friend of ours put thiers on the market and sold it in a MONTH! It frustrates me but good for them. I also got to see New Moon. We waited in line for 4 hours and had great seats! I loved it. It wasn't as good at the book obviously but it was still great! We (Kater and I and some friends) went to the zoo it was so nice to let the little ones hang out and look at what they wanted to instead of having the big kids bug us the whole time!

Is it really lost?

Kelby is missing part of his body! Luckily it is his tooth! Yes, he lost his 1st tooth on HALLOWEEN! How exciting is that.

For Halloween we had Abby Cadabby from Sesame Street, an Alien and a Ninja! The boys went around town with their friends and we took Missy to the church. We all had fun and I am glad it is past us! Now, on to Thanksgiving! Then maybe we can breeze past Christmas!
